Marc C. Paquette, CPA, MST, QuickBooks ProAdvisor – Partner
Marc joined the firm in 1997 after five years of working in private industry. His areas of expertise include accounting and taxation for small business, individual taxation, audits, and reviews. He also has extensive experience in construction accounting and taxation.
Marc is responsible for the firm’s IT management and is knowledgeable in accounting software installation, training, and support. He earned his Bachelor of Accounting from Luther College. Marc is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Illinois Certified Public Accountants Society, and the Palatine Chamber of Commerce
Glenn Prigge, CPA – Partner and Vice President
Glenn joined Paquette & Company in January of 2015 after a 25-year career at Prigge, Simon & Hedrick, LLC in Mount Prospect, Illinois where he spent a decade as a partner in the firm.
Glenn works with clients on a wide range of business and tax issues and focuses on tax planning as well as helping client grow their businesses. His areas of specialization include forensic accounting and back taxes; helping companies and individuals with tax compliance; and accounting and taxation for small businesses and individuals.
A graduate of Indiana University, Glenn has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.
He enjoys golf and many other outside sports.
Rodney J. Paquette, CPA, MBA – Founding Partner
Prior to establishing his practice in 1979, Rod worked at a large national and Midwest regional public accounting firm, as well as in the industrial sector, having held positions of controller, treasurer, chief financial officer and chief operations officer. Having worked in the business arena for many years gives Rod a unique perspective when advising small business owners.
Rod has expertise in accounting and auditing for the small business entity, taxation of the closely-held company and their principals, estate and trust planning and taxation. He earned his Master of Business Administration in accounting from DePaul University and his Bachelor of Business Administration from Wisconsin State University.
Michael Simon, CPA – Partner
Michael joined Paquette & Company in January 2015, bringing with him a wealth of experience including thirty years as managing partner at Prigge, Simon & Hedrick, LLC.
Michael works with small businesses, sole proprietors and professional and service corporations, and is responsible for the preparation of individual, partnership and not-for-profit tax returns.
A graduate of the University of Illinois-Chicago, Michael earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and is also a licensed CPA in Illinois. Michael is a member of the Illinois CPA Society and the American Society of Certified Public Accountants. In the community, Michael serves as treasurer of the Friends of the Glenview Library and treasurer of Congregation Or Chadash in Chicago.
Jerome A. Sara, CPA – Consultant
Jerry joined the firm in 2011 as a consultant, responsible for client tax preparation and annual planning. With expertise in the areas of individual and fiduciary income tax, he assists clients in tax strategy planning to ensure that clients have a clear picture of their financial standing and make sound business decisions. Prior to joining Paquette & Company, Jerry operated his own accounting firm (1993-2011), and before that he worked for Winston & Strawn (1976-1993). Jerry earned a degree in accounting from DePaul University.
Bill Gladstone, CPA, QuickBooks ProAdvisdor – Business Accounts Manager
Bill serves as Paquette & Company’s Business Accounts Manager, overseeing our business services including audits, reviews, compilations, and preparing management use financial statements. He also supports our tax department during tax season, preparing tax returns for businesses and individuals. Bill’s experience includes working with businesses from start-ups to multi-million dollar corporations, helping them to mitigate their tax liabilities. He also has a wide variety of tax experience working with individuals and estates. Most recently, Bill was the controller of a mid-sized direct marketing company. Bill is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society. He attended Valparaiso University in Indiana, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. Bill serves as a Trustee on the Schaumburg School District 54 Foundation and is a volunteer for his church’s Awana program. He is married with two young children.
Matthew Glowacki, CPA, – Tax Manager
Matthew came to our firm in January 2014 as a Senior Tax Associate and is focused on client tax preparation, estimated tax preparation, and year-end planning. Matthew brings large public accounting firm experience to Paquette & Company.
Matthew is a member of the AICPA (American Institute of Public Accountants) and the ICPAS (Illinois Certified Public Accountants Society). He graduated with a Bachelor of Finance and a Master of Accounting Science degree from Northern Illinois University.
Rebecca (Becky) Flores – Office Manager
Becky joined us at the end of 2013 as our Office Manager, and has already survived her first tax season! She is responsible for client communications, including answering phone calls, managing documents and client portals, sales tax return preparation, and she also provides relief for other staff. Becky earned her Associate of Science degree in accounting from Ashworth University.
Cheryl Eisenmenger, CPA
Cheryl joined Paquette in December of 2014. Her primary responsibility are individual income tax and trust income tax returns for high net worth individuals. Prior to joining Paquette, she worked for 3 years doing accounting work for small business clients in a variety of industries, and worked 12 years at a large corporation holding financial analyst, manager, and controller positions.
Cheryl received her Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Illinois University. She is married with 3 school age children and is actively involved in volunteering with her local PTA and with the Middle School ministry at church.
Lisa Buchanan, CPA
Lisa joined the firm in 2010 and comes with senior auditor, benefits administration, and controller experience. She is responsible for client bookkeeping, payroll, preparing sales tax, and payroll tax returns, as well as assisting clients with their QuickBooks needs. Lisa received her BS in Business/Accountancy from Miami University.
Laura Simios, QuickBooks ProAdvisor – Accountant
Laura joined the Paquette & Company team as an Accountant, handling accounting work and special projects for our clients. Prior to her position at our firm, Laura managed accounting duties for three local building companies.
A graduate of the University of Illinois, Laura has an accounting degree. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her children play sports and participating in her book club.
